How do I add a navigation window to my Quickbooks toolbar?

If you find that you use a screen over and over again, it’s easy to make a “button” for the screen so it’s one click away rather than going through the menus. For example if you frequently use the “Customer Payment” window, save it as a button on the icon bar. First open the screen the normal way, then click on View/Add “Receive Payments” to the Icon Bar. Similarly if your Quickbooks icon bar is too crowded and you want to re-organize, click on View/Customize Icon Bar, and from there you can delete, move things around etc.

How do I update vendor information in Quickbooks?

In QB 2005 or earlier, click on Lists/Vendor List and then double-click on the vendor to open the edit screen. In QB 2006 and 2007, go the Vendor Center and then double-click on the vendor to open the edit screen.
